SHontelle Pinch | CEO

Shontelle Pinch, the Co-Founder and CEO of The Swiss Chemist. Her mom’s influence has played a huge role in her drive and determination, leading her to become a true trailblazer in Toronto’s Food and Beverage industry. She started off as a pioneer in the all-female led food truck industry, and has since expanded to a restaurant chain and a hot sauce business. But her passion doesn’t stop there. Shontelle’s love for the land brought her to Jamaica, where she established a sustainable estate called Serenade Negril in the stunning Westend of Negril. Her deep connection to nature and its healing properties led her to explore the world of mushrooms, She is one of the first females in Jamaica to do so. From F&B to Fungi.

Jack Crane | COO

Jack Crane, serial entrepreneur and mushroom expert, is the COO and co-founder of The Swiss Chemist. A skilled cultivator, and government compliance expert, Jack has over five years of experience in the mushroom industry. He also has extensive experience in the alcoholic beverage industry and started his first multi-million dollar company at the age of 20. Passionate about being hands-on, Jack is involved in every step of the process, from the starting spore to the finished product.

Steven Duarte | Head cultivator

Steven Duarte, Head Cultivator at The Swiss Chemist’s Jamaican facility, was born into a family of palm tree experts, but after 8 years running his family’s company, he found his passion of cultivating mushrooms. With over 6 years of experience, Steven is a true mushroom connoisseur, and his expertise is essential to the development of The Swiss Chemist’s amazing formulations. Steven creates and blends different mushroom strains to curate unique and tailored experiences for each product. His ability to cultivate mushrooms in any environment at any scale is a testament to his mastery of the craft.

DR. JESSICA COOK MD, FACEP

Jessica Cook, MD is a board-certified emergency medicine physician with a passion for integrative medicine and medical simulation education. She currently serves as the Director of Medical Simulation for HCA Healthcare East Florida Division, as well as the Director of Medical Simulation Education & Core Faculty for the Emergency Medicine Residency at HCA Aventura Hospital. She is also an attending emergency medicine physician at HCA Aventura Hospital and an assistant professor of emergency medicine and critical care at both Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine at Florida International University and Nova Southeastern University College of Medicine. Dr. Cook is a true leader in the field of emergency medicine, and her work is helping to shape the future of the profession.
